Ngorongoro
Rise and shine. After an early breakfast, depart for a drive to Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game drive with picnic. We will spend the day on the bottom of the crater (often called the eighth wonder of the world) exploring its rich flora and fauna. Keep an eye for Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, waterbuck, hyenas, jackals as well as flamingos in lake Magadi. Due to the crater’s permanent supply of food and water, animals stay there all year long making it also one of the best places to see the rare endangered black rhino. The crater has also good number of lions and cheetahs and if we are lucky enough lions will be sleeping by the shade not far from our vehicle. In the late afternoon you will continue to our camp.
